Admissions Criteria and Application Forms

19 places within the Twyford C.E. High School Music College are made available each year for students applying for a place in Year 7 and with an identified natural aptitude for music.

Specialist Music Scholar applications for September 2022 are now closed.

The Twyford Church of England Academies Trust runs a single Specialist Music Admissions Test for Specialist Music places at Twyford Church of England High School and Ealing Fields High School.

Please note that all Open/Non-Religious applicants do not need to submit a Supplementary Information Form. A formal applications can be made by listing Twyford as a preference on the Common Application Form submitted to your Local Authority.

All applicants must complete a Common Application Form through their Local Authority, listing Twyford as one of their six preferences – otherwise we will not be able to consider either your supplementary information form (made directly to the school) or your application for a Specialist Music place.

Deadlines

  • Friday 1st October 2021: Specialist Music applications should be submitted via the link above
  • Friday 29th October 2021 by 4:00 PM: Supplementary information forms (Faith-based applications) must be submitted directly to Twyford (Please note during half term - Monday 25th to Friday 29th October - Reception will be open between the hours of 10:00am to 3:00pm to drop off Supplementary information forms)
  • Sunday 31st October 2021: Common application form (CAF) to be submitted to your Local Authority, listing Twyford as a preferred school choice. (Please note Twyford School Office will not be open on Sunday 31st October 2021)
