In March, a group of eight students participated in the Year 10 Maths Team Challenge (Maths Feast) at Notting Hill & Ealing High School. This was a fantastic opportunity for Year 10 students, who excelled in the recent UK Intermediate Maths Challenge, to compete against equally able students from other schools on a series of mathematical activities. Students worked in groups of four solving challenging maths problems. All participants enjoyed the event. Twyford came a very respectable fourth out of 18 participating schools, with most of these being non-state schools.
