Ella Moy, our Chaplaincy leader has kindly written the following about the Ignite event:

‘Ignite was an amazing time for the wider community to come together in worship. The theme of this Ignite was 'Your Kingdom Come' which was explored throughout the service led largely by students. We heard powerful testimonies about how God has been moving at Twyford, the ways He has been at work in students’ personal lives, and how they hope to see God’s Kingdom grow within the school in the future.

Our external guest speaker Luke spoke on the topic of what is means to pray 'Your Kingdom Come' during times of suffering or when God feels silent. He highlighted that a Christian journey is not always a constant high but consists of different challenges. Through these challenges, we can hold on to the truth that God knows everything we've ever done and still chooses to love us and wants to be in a relationship with us. Because of this, we can be honest with him and pray boldly to see his Kingdom come.

The Ignite band also led an incredible time of informal worship where people could enjoy going deeper and connecting with God. The event ended with prayer ministry allowing older students and staff to pray for students and those in community who wanted to respond to the talk.’
