On Tuesday 18th November the Popular Music Competition took place. The event showcased the variety of talented musicians currently studying at Twyford.
First place winner this year was awarded a place to perform at one of the opening stages at the Hanwell Hootie in summer. The judges, a panel of industry professionals, had the challenging task of choosing between the 12 fantastic acts, ranging from sensational solo vocalists to raging rock bands. The winners were:
1st Place: Michael Hill
2nd Place: The Tracks (Aiden Miler, Jaxon Miller, Flyn Wilkins, Eloisa French and Kayden Tan)
3rd Place (joint): Eleventh Hour (Florence Moreno, Amirah Dzuilkiflee, Ruth Oliver and Claudia Bileckyj) and The Kuttlefish (Adonias Buttazzoni, Dylan Templeton, Johnny Golding Wood and Louis Von Doussa)
